The summer months at Bilston see our lavender fields transform into a stunning sea of beautiful, fragrant flowers. A must see on any bucket list.
In early June, the bright green stems develop buds that cast a lovely dusty purple hue across the fields, just before the flowers start to emerge in late June. As buds become blooms, the fields are at their peak in early July through mid-August and the barn becomes our lavender drying barn with floor to ceiling walls of lavender.

Celebrate this season with us as you soak in the beauty of lavender fields in full bloom, taking part in a hands-on workshop and browsing a variety of local makers at our summer festival market. Live music will fill the air on select dates as you enjoy product demonstrations, hunt for pollinators along our lavender field, watch our team harvest and distill lavender, or simply relax in the shade of heritage apple trees while enjoying an ice cream or cup of tea. What could be more perfect?

Lavender Festival Markets

Shop and support local artisans at the festival market in our custom built barn. Each week we’ll change it up so you’ll see some new vendors join the market. Browse from a variety of products including skincare, candles, housewares, artwork and cards, jewelry, specialty foods, ceramics, seeds and more. Click here for more information on our unique vendors.

Featuring Artist In Residence: Taliah Lavertu

We are delighted to welcome Taliah Lavertu as our Artist in Residence during this year’s Lavender Festival at Bilston Creek Farm.

A gifted jazz and Neo-soul vocalist, Taliah brings warmth, soul, and artistry to the farm’s lavender fields throughout the summer. Her performances create the perfect soundtrack for leisurely afternoons, offering visitors an immersive experience that blends music, nature, and community.

Taliah’s musical journey began at a young age, where her deep connection to R&B and Neo-Soul first took root. In 2011, Taliah was recognized for her exceptional musical ability and artistry when she received the prestigious Maestro Award in New York City. Following this achievement, she was selected to participate in an honorary choir that performed at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall.

Be sure to check our event calendar and social media channels for upcoming appearances.
