Cyanotype Workshop

Out of the Blue. An experience of Botanical Cyanotype with Lise-Lotte.

Join Lise-Lotte to make some cyanotypes (an old photographic technique), with an exploration in blue and white.

Learn how to make your very own nature-inspired cyanotypes on paper using botanicals. In this workshop we will talk about placement of materials, shadows and making space for the magic that happens with the sun, when we set up the right conditions to make art.

Bring a friend to share this experience with or come on your own and enjoy your own creative time for a cosy afternoon full of conversation and connection while experiencing the magic that is cyanotype. We will start with a little walk around the farm to collect small leaves and grasses to use. Your botanical cyanotype prints will be a lovely memento from a well spent afternoon at Bilston Creek Farm.

If you have been in one of her workshops, no matter what the topic, you know that she brings humour and a sense confidence in the participants who might be unsure if they can make “the thing” and by the end they have a finished project that they are delighted by, proud of and they leave having had an energy-giving creative time.
