Learn how to make an elegant, abundant and natural hand-tied bouquet featuring the freshest seasonal flowers and our favourite ingredient: lavender!
This class will cover flower selection, colour, texture and form. A step-by-step demonstration of how to arrange a garden bouquet will be provided, along with flowers and silk ribbon to create with and take home. All of the fresh cut flowers you'll be working with are grown in Metchosin by Caitlyn and other local growers.
Caitlyn Neufeld is an organic master garden, floral designer and teacher. She will provide group and one-on-one instruction to help you create a beautiful bouquet, and you'll go home with new skills to create with on your own. All skill levels welcome!
We will provide all tools and materials you'll need for the workshop, along with lavender sodas and lavender shortbread to keep you refreshed while you work.
Friday August 28, 6-8pm
