You will identify flora and funga in the old cedar forest just beyond the farm and make your way past Sitting Lady Falls, Witty's lagoon and marsh and arrive at a sprawling sandy beach. The beach area is beautiful where the low tide creates visible sand dunes surrounded by water shallow enough to walk through. You may also want to pack your binoculars, the area is popular amongst bird watchers as the lagoon provides shelter and an ecosystem of food for many different shorebirds.
Your hike will be followed by a beautiful picnic basket prepared by Bramble by Bilston that you may enjoy in the orchard.
