Golden Harvest
September 16th - 18th
Experience a complete wellness reset with a three day, two night getaway to the forest, farm, and sea.
Immerse yourself in the healing properties of lavender and the slow and pleasurable French way of being.
Relax and rejuvenate with massage, yoga, bodywork, forest meditation, and hydrotherapy.
Our accomodation offers a close connection with nature while maintaining the luxury of a hotel room. Each emperor bell tent is outfitted with a king size bed or two twin size beds with orchard and forest views. Amenities include lush linens, fresh towels, access to a private forest shower, as well as an indoor heated shower facility and charging capabilities - although we suggest unplugging for a few days.
Early morning will be spent in silence, experiencing the fullness of the forest and enhancing your journey inward. Yoga and breathwork will be offered before breakfast to awaken your senses and connect you to your focus for the day.
Mornings and afternoons are left open with a variety of experiences to choose from:
Executive Chef, Sandi Irving of Bramble by Bilston, is passionate about creating unforgettable dining experiences.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served family style, farm-to-table, and inspired by the French way of eating - slowly, seasonally, and in good company.
Executive chef Sandi Irving of Bramble by Bilston features a menu of local haute cuisine by highlighting Metchosin grown producers as well as herbs, edible flowers, fruit, honey, and lavender from Bilston Creek Farm.
Dine al fresco with a glass of rosé, feasting on meals with ingredients gathered from the farm and surrounding area. The French know there is beauty to be found in the journey of eating, not just the act itself.
In our featured workshop, renowned ethnobotanist Fiona Hamersley Chambers will guide a land foraging expedition to introduce the many edible herbs, plants, and berries of the Pacific Northwest. As the co-author of numerous field guides, including Wild Berries of BC and Edible and Medicinal Plants of Canada, you'll be in capable hands while deepening your connection to the land.
When given the chance, our environment becomes our greatest teacher.
You are always welcome to observe or take part in daily farming activities as a way to reconnect with the land and your food.
