]]> Locally harvested cedar boughs are copper distilled to produce essential oil with the scent of the coastal rainforest. The Western Red Cedar is one of the most important trees in the pacific northwest, used traditionally for practical, spiritual and medicinal purposes for hundreds of years. 

How to Use:

  • Add 2-3 drops to a diffuser
  • Pour a few drops into the bottom of your shower to bring the scent of an outdoor shower inside
  • Add a few drops to cotton balls and place in a closet
  • Blend into natural household cleaning products 
  • Blend 2 drops of cedar oil with 10 drops of lavender oil and add to a diffuser 

Ingredients: 100% Cedar leaf essential oil

Caution: Always practice caution and consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner when using essential oils. Cedar leaf oil can be toxic if ingested. Dilute liberally in a carrier oil and use a patch test to check for skin irritation before applying topically. Avoid use during pregnancy.

Pressed by hand in early fall and aged for a deep flavour and smooth finish, this vinegar adds bright acidity to sweet and savoury dishes, and makes a delicious  tonic. Made in small batches with no additives, this vinegar is packed with flavour. 
How to Use:
  • Use in vinaigrettes to season salads
  • Marinade meats and vegetables
  • Add to sauces for a hint of acidity 
  • Drink with still or sparking water

Made with two varieties of english lavender and organic cane sugar, this artisanal simple syrup is made in small batches at Bilston Creek Farm. 

How to Use:

  • Add a splash of syrup and a squeeze of lemon to bubbly water for a refreshing lavender soda
  • Pour a spoonful over ice and top with strong coffee and your milk of choice for an iced lavender latte
  • Toss with fresh berries and serve over ice cream for a simple dessert

Ingredients: Water, organic cane sugar, sugar, dried lavender buds, citric acid 

Refrigerate after opening.

]]> Made from single origin, highest graded organic cacao powder, this lavender hot chocolate is rich and dark. We add just a touch of Bilston Lavender Essential Oil for a sweet, aromatic flavour with subtle floral notes and finish with a hint of sea salt.

Each batch is blended and packed by hand in recyclable paper tea tubes. 

Instructions:
Bring 1 cup (250ml) water, milk or your favourite milk alternative to a boil. Blend in 1-2 heaping tablespoons of hot chocolate and whisk to combine. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or marshmallows as desired.

]]> This black tea blend is made with organic Assam tea leaves, Bilston’s own lavender buds, and organic rose petals for a balanced, floral cup. We use premium black tea leaves for a a robust brew with a short steeping time. Serve hot or iced, and enjoy the delicate flavours of lavender and rose.

Each batch is blended and packed by hand in recyclable paper tea tubes. 

To Brew:

Hot Tea: Bring water to a boil and let cool 20 seconds. Add 1.5 teaspoons per cup of hot water. Let steep 1-3 minutes. Strain and serve with milk or honey as desired. 

Iced Tea: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Steep 2 tablespoons of tea for 7-9 minutes. Strain. Chill and keep refrigerated up to one week. To serve, pour one cup over ice with a wedge of lemon and one ounce of Bilston Lavender Simple Syrup (optional).

Ingredients: organic Assam black tea, lavender buds, organic rose petals
